Is Mivimed a medical device?
No. Mivimed helps you store and organize your medical documents and reminders. It doesn’t provide medical advice and isn’t a substitute for professional care — always check important details with a healthcare professional, and in an emergency call your local emergency number.
Is my health data private?
Yes. Your records are encrypted in transit and stored in a private, per-account database in the EU. Files live in private storage reached only through short-lived signed links, and we never send your document contents to analytics.
How does the AI analysis work?
When you ask for it, the document image is sent to an AI model (via OpenRouter) that extracts a summary, key findings, medications, lab values and more. The result is saved to your account. AI can make mistakes, so always verify against your original document.
Does it cost anything?
Mivimed is free during early access. A Premium plan with higher limits is on the way, and you’ll always be able to keep a free account.
Which languages are supported?
The app is fully available in English and Romanian. AI summaries can be produced in English, Spanish, German, French or Romanian.
Can I get my data out — or delete it?
Anytime. Export everything as a JSON file, or permanently delete your data or your entire account from the Profile screen. Account deletion is immediate and permanent.
Does it work offline?
Yes, read-only. Documents you’ve already opened stay available without a connection, and everything syncs when you’re back online.
Is it available on Android?
Mivimed is on iPhone today. An Android version is coming — the groundwork is already in place.
