Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of the Mivimed mobile application (“the App”), operated by Mitech Digital (“we”, “us”). By creating an account you agree to these terms and to the Privacy Policy.

1. What the App is — and is not

Mivimed is a personal organizer for your medical documents: it stores files you upload, uses AI to extract information from them, and helps you track appointments and medication schedules.

Mivimed is not a medical device, does not provide medical advice, and is not a substitute for professional medical care. AI-generated summaries, extracted values, medication schedules, and appointment suggestions may contain errors. Always verify extracted information against your original document and consult a qualified healthcare professional before making any health decision. Never disregard professional medical advice because of something shown in the App. In an emergency, call your local emergency number.

2. Your account

You must provide accurate information, keep your credentials secure, and be at least 16 years old. You are responsible for activity under your account. You can delete your account at any time in Profile → Danger Zone; deletion is permanent.

3. Your content

You retain ownership of the documents and data you upload. You grant us the limited right to store and process them solely to provide the App’s features (including transmitting documents to AI providers for analysis you request). Only upload documents you have the right to store — uploading someone else’s medical information without authority is prohibited.

4. Acceptable use

You must not: attempt to access other users’ data; probe, disable, or circumvent security or rate limits; use the AI features for anything other than analyzing your own medical documents; reverse engineer the App; or use the App for unlawful purposes. AI features are subject to fair-usage limits; we may suspend accounts that abuse them.

5. Availability & changes

The App is provided “as is” and “as available”. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features (including AI features) at any time, and may update these terms — material changes will be announced in the App. Continued use after changes means acceptance.

6. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, loss of data caused by factors outside our reasonable control, or decisions made in reliance on AI-generated content. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law (including under EU consumer protection rules).

7. Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or abuse the service. You may stop using the App and delete your account at any time.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of [Romania / your jurisdiction], without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections of your country of residence. Disputes go to the competent courts of [your jurisdiction].
